Buy TikTok followers for your business
Customers check a business’s TikTok before they book, order or visit. Here is how a follower package fits into that, which size suits which kind of business, and the rules a company should know first.

Why a business account looks at followers at all
For a business, TikTok is often a shop window rather than a stage. Someone hears about your bakery, salon or online shop, searches for you, and lands on your profile. In a couple of seconds they take in the videos, the bio and the follower count. A count in the dozens next to good videos makes people wonder whether the business is new, small or struggling, even when it’s none of those. That’s the gap a follower package is meant to close: the number on the profile catching up with the business behind it.
It won’t bring customers by itself. TikTok shows videos to people based on how viewers react to them, not on how many followers an account has, so the videos still have to do the selling.
Which size suits which business
| Type of business | Typical starting point | A sensible order |
|---|---|---|
| Local shop, café, salon or trade | 0 to 300 followers | 500 to 1,000 |
| Online shop or small brand | 300 to 3,000 followers | 1,000 to 2,500 |
| Growing brand with regular content | 3,000 to 15,000 followers | 5,000 or 10,000 |
Look at a few competitors in your area or niche. If they sit at 2,000 to 5,000, landing far above them looks odd; landing in the same range looks normal.
The rules businesses should know
This is where companies differ from individuals. Using a follower count simply to make a profile look less empty is one thing. Using it to make claims to customers is another:
- TikTok’s rules prohibit buying followers, likes and views for any account, business or personal. The realistic consequence is losing some of what you bought, and possibly reduced reach on affected content.
- Consumer protection law in the US, UK, EU and elsewhere prohibits misleading marketing. Saying “join our 10,000 TikTok fans” in an ad, when most were bought, is the kind of claim that can cross the line.
- In the US, the Federal Trade Commission’s rule on fake reviews and testimonials, in force since late 2024, specifically covers buying fake indicators of social media influence, such as followers or views, for commercial purposes, where the buyer knew or should have known they were fake.
So for a business, our honest advice is: don’t make your follower count part of your sales pitch, and get proper advice if your social numbers are something you present to customers, investors or partners. Buying a modest package so your profile doesn’t look abandoned is a much smaller decision than building marketing claims on it.
Running a local business? 500 or 1,000 followers is a typical starting point.
Choose a packageWhat the profile should look like first
- Your logo or shopfront as the photo, and the business name customers search for as the display name.
- A bio that says what you do and where. TikTok allows 80 characters. “Sourdough and coffee in Leeds, open daily” does the job. Our bio generator gives ideas.
- A link to your website, booking page or shop, if your account can show one.
- Six to ten videos that show the product, the people and the place. Behind-the-scenes clips and quick how-tos work well for most businesses.
Followers or views for a business?
If your aim is that customers see a credible profile, followers. If your aim is that a particular video, a product launch, a menu change, an offer, looks watched when you share it on your website or in an email, views on that video cost far less. Many businesses do a small follower order once and then occasional views on key videos.
A worked example
A two-chair barbershop has 140 followers and has been posting fades and before-and-afters for two months, getting a few hundred views per video. They order 1,000 followers ($14.99) and 5,000 views ($5.99) on their best before-and-after, which they pin. Total $20.98. The profile now reads as an active local business. What brings bookings is still the videos and the link in the bio; the follower count just stops putting people off.
Mistakes businesses make
- Ordering huge numbers for a local business. A corner café with 20,000 followers and 150 views per video looks bought.
- Advertising the follower count. See the rules above.
- Letting the account go quiet afterwards. A bigger count on a dormant account looks worse than a small one.
- Giving an agency your password for “growth”. No follower package needs it, and it’s the biggest risk to your account.
